Interjection একটি part of speech যা আকস্মিক অনুভূতি যেমন আনন্দ, বিস্ময়, দুঃখ, প্রভৃতি বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয় এবং এটি ব্যাকরণগতভাবে sentence এর বাকি অংশের সঙ্গে সম্পর্কযুক্ত নয়।
Wow!, Hey!, Hurray!, Alas!, Yippee!, etc. are some commonly used interjections.
Example : Wow! The movie was really (Showing surprise)
Hurray! Bangladesh has won the match. (Showing joy)
Alas! Her father died yesterday. (Showing sadness)

যে interjection কাউকে সম্বোধন করে ওই ব্যক্তির প্রতি সৌহার্দ্যরে অনুভূতি বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয় তাকে interjection for greeting বলে।

Interjections for Joy
যে interjection হঠাৎ ঘটে যাওয়া কোনো আনন্দের ঘটনার কারণে আনন্দ বা সুখ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয় তাকে interjection for joy বলে।
Hurray!, Yippee!, Wow!, etc. are some interjections for joy.
Examples : Hurray! Bangladesh has won the match.
Wow! The movie was really awesome.
Yippee! We are going on a vacation.
