Aggravate
Aggravate, শব্দটি Verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Meaning as a verb
1. Making a disease, an offense, an injury or a problem worse (কোনো রোগ, অপরাধ, আঘাত বা কোনো সমস্যাকে আরও খারাপ বা গুরুতর করে ফেলা)
Example : Don’t aggravate the problem instead of solving it.
The wrong treatment aggravated the disease instead of curing it.
Please try to solve the problem now otherwise it will be aggravated.
Your careless attitude will aggravate the problem.
The situation is aggravating day by day.
His presence aggravated the situation.
2. Irritating or annoying someone (Informal use).
কাউকে বিরক্ত করা। (অনানুষ্ঠানিক ব্যবহার)
Example : Don’t try to aggravate me.
At last, he quitted from his last job because he was constantly aggravated by his colleagues.
His friend always tries to aggravate him, but he just doesn’t care.
Annoy
Annoy, শব্দটিও Verb হিসেবে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Meaning as a verb
Irritating or disturbing someone or making someone a little bit angry (কাউকে বিরক্ত করা বা কাউকে এক রাগানো)
Example : He is always trying to annoy his younger sister.
His younger sister gets annoyed very easily.
Don’t try to annoy me.
Please stop annoying me.
Your behavior really annoyed her.
All his efforts to annoy me went in vain.
We should not annoy our neighbors.
